newwebsite-header-2015-8

Unique Fundraiser Doesn’t Require Kids to Sell

The Chrysler Drive for the Kids fundraiser is an innovative way to raise hundreds or thousands of dollars for your school by tying into an existing event. It doesn’t require kids or parents to sell wrapping paper, candy or discount cards. The best part is it doesn’t cost a single cent to join up. You can go to a local dealership like Chapman Chrysler Jeep for more information, or simply click here to register for the program.

Chrysler Comes to Your School

Simply sign up for the program and work out the details with an assigned Chrysler representative and they will bring a Town & Country minivan, Chrysler 200 midsize sedan and Chrysler 300 flagship sedan to an upcoming event. It can be an ice cream social, art fair, school carnival or any fun activity where you expect a good size attendance. When any licensed driver that is at least 18 takes a test drive, you earn $10 for your school to use for computers, books, facilities or anything you desire. Chrysler says an average of 130 people take test drives, which equates to $1,300 of easy money.

Easiest Fundraiser in Town

Chrysler’s Drive For Kids involves little effort on the parents or school. Once you register, a field representative will be in contact to schedule the event and coordinate the entire effort. The rep will also be in attendance to supervise the test drives and take care of all the necessary details to make sure your school gets the proper cash payout. This program has been in effect since 1993 and has raised more than $6 million for schools across the nation.

School Administrators Rave About Drive for the Kids

After working with dealerships like Chapman Chrysler Jeep, school officials are uniformly pleased with the results of this charitable program. One California faculty member said “This was a wonderful way to earn money for our school without selling any product. Parents really enjoyed seeing the new cars too!” An Ohio administrator added, “Our Drive for the Kids event was just great! The program representative was very helpful, which made the event so easy to do.” A Michigan PTA president was also supportive, saying, “It’s great to have corporate support for education so visible at the local level. These folks are pros – very competent, efficient and friendly. The money will be spent for PTA enrichments to the curriculum.”
