Jeep had already given the public a look at the 2019 Renegade’s exterior, now they’ve provided the opportunity to see the vehicle’s refreshed interior along with all its innovative upgrades. The 2019 Jeep Renegade has a slightly tweaked dashboard and a new center console. Plus, there’s a new smartphone holder and to make the cabin more comfortable, the new Renegade even has bigger cup holders. Some of the other changes to the interior of the 2019 Renegade include reshaped central aircon vents, a new climate control system and a redesigned instrument panel.

The 2019 Jeep Renegade’s in-car amenities include an available 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen system. The Uconnect system itself has been upgraded and now it can support Android Auto and Apple Car. Plus, the new Uconnect system now also has built-in navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and Aux. The Renegade’s safety systems have also been upgraded for 2019. In addition to the two turbocharged gasoline engines the 2019 Renegade comes with, there’s also both a 1.6- and a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine available. The 1.6-liter turbo-diesel engine produces 120 PS and the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, depending on the variant, can come with either 140 PS or 170 PS. The 2019 Jeep Renegade has three available transmission options. They include one with a six-speed manual gearbox, another with a seven-speed dual-clutch as well as a third which is a nine-speed automatic. The addition of auto stop/start technology with both turbo-diesel engines results in improved fuel efficiency.

Jeep has also upgraded the 2019 Renegade with an array of standard off-road capability features. There’s Jeep Active Drive which functions like the 4WD system. It automatically controls the 4WD system and can send the rear wheel the right amount of torque in any driving condition. The Renegade also comes with Jeep Active Drive Low. With its hill-descent control, it acts like the Renegade’s crawl function. Plus, you can use the Jeep Selec-terrain on the 2019 Renegade to choose from four driving modes, Auto, Sand, Snow and 4WD.

The Trailhawk model of the Renegade has some serious upgrades. It’s ground clearance is increased to 210 mm and wheel articulation of up to 205 mm is guaranteed. The 2019 Renegade Trailhawk’s Selec-terrain system adds ‘Rock’ mode. This maximizes the vehicle’s traction and grip when on rocky terrain.
