When most people think of Jeep, they picture a SUV that is compact. In addition, a SUV that is more elevated and one that could withstand being stuck in the sand or mud. The 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport remains one of the most popular models of the growing Jeep family. Some reviewers call the Wrangler an SUV, but their owners might disagree with that tag.

The Wrangler seems to revisit its roots with every model and it is one of the reasons it remains authentic. Jeep keeps adding great features to the Wrangler, but they find a way to keep the core Jeep lovers happy. There are 2 body styles for the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport—the 2-door Wrangler along and the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited.

You can get a hard top or soft top for either model. These model options have been the one feature that has remained with the Wrangler over the years. You even have the option of having both roof styles and can change them according to the season. Most of the advances for the Jeep in the past few years took place within the interior. The interior now contains the option of an infotainment system, updated dashboard and newly designed seating.

Not many vehicles on the road are comparable to Jeeps. The distinctive way it looks and how it drives are all part of the Jeep brand.

The dashboards have a more contoured look and feel compared to previous Wrangler versions. Softer touch padding has been added for more comfort to the seats and elbow rests. The interior has been brightened up with additional lighting.

The new V6 with the improved automatic transmission in the Wrangler Sport gives it a leg up on the competition.

For the off roaders the 2015 Wrangler Sport has 40% more power and 10% more torque with the new Penstar V6 engine. With the additional power along with smooth shifting and automatic transmission, the Wrangler is one of the smoothest off road machines.

Cargo space is down in the list for Jeep, but the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited provides a bit more room from the back.

The 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport is great for getting around town but it also performs solidly off road. Gas mileage is okay compared to other Jeep models. The expected MSRP is around $23,000.

Look forward to test driving the new 2015 Jeep Wrangler! Available now at the Chapman Jeep dealership.

Jeep is developing a $100,000 luxury SUV to directly compete with Range Rover.

Sergio Marchionne Fiat-Chrysler CEO let it slip in Toronto recently at the opening of an Alfa Romero and Maserati dealership. Even though Jeep sales have increased 4 fold since 2009, due to the broad demand for SUVs and the success of their new models, Marchionne still feels that Jeep is missing an opportunity.

It’s a daring gambit, which will challenge the flexibility of a brand that began its existence selling army vehicles in World War II and has to date, managed not to isolate hard-core off-roaders. Depending on Range Rover selling prices, a luxury Jeep might command around $100,000 and help shore up profit margins.

The Jeep with the highest price tag is the Grand Cherokee which begins at around $30,000 but fully loaded that price can double. Jeep also announced that it will be bringing back the larger Grand Wagoneer by 2018. The Range Rover rival will sit above the Wagoneer in the line-up, which already has the entry level Cherokee and Renegade. Both the Cherokee and Renegade are popular at dealerships like Chapman Jeep, with buyers and critics.

Luxury models account for about 1/2 of booming SUV sales. The new luxury Jeep has some stiff competition like the new Maserati Levante SUV which will make its debut in 2016. Bentley is bringing out the most expensive and luxurious SUV, the Bentayga.

The competition doesn’t end there, Audi is introducing a new full-sized SUV the Q8 by 2020, that will also directly compete with the $63,600 Mercedes-Benz GL and BMW’s X7 which is still in development. Jaguars first crossover the F-Pace is due out next year. Porsche’s high end SUV the Cayenne has been their top selling model for the year so far through April. This year so far, Ford’s fastest gaining vehicle is the Lincoln Navigator, while it is the Cadillac Escalade at GM.

Jeep is expanding into markets outside North America namely China, Brazil and Italy, which is an effort to push the brand’s sales to 1.9 million in 2018 after only just setting the record 1 million mark last year. Jeep dealerships are expanding in China by approximately 30% his year. They plan to build the Cherokee there in November 2015 with the Renegade to follow in 2016.

Some markets know the Jeep brand but they are not fully aware of the full product line. The markets in China, along with some Asian and European segments, are ready for a high-end Jeep.

Chrysler 200

Without a doubt, when looking at great cars, you should realize that the Chrysler 200 sedan is one of them, and you should check one out if you like to enjoy your car in all aspects. With that being said, if you are not convinced, you should read on. Here are a few reasons why there is a big demand for the Chrysler 200 sedan.

First and foremost, if you are tired of boring sedans, you don’t have to worry with the 200. Drivers are treated with a midsized sedan that is as fun to drive as costlier and less practical sporty cars. For starters, you can get a nine-speed transmission, which is a blast to work with if you are driving up mountain roads. You also get an advanced all-wheel drive system. With this one-two punch, drivers can enjoy the car for all the power and control it has.  Of course, if you are going to buy a car, you don’t want to just read about how it feels; you want to experience it, and you can if you head to Chapman Chrysler Jeep. Here, you can check one out for yourself. Simply put, with 295 horsepower and plenty of control, a buyer will love the 200 sedan by Chrysler.

When thinking about the Chrysler 200, you are probably thinking that if it has that much power, you are not going to get decent gas mileage. Nothing could further from the truth as this car gets 18 MPG in the city and 29 on the highway, which is impressive for a car with so much power. Remember, a lot of high-end cars with a lot of power get horrible fuel economy, but you are in luck as the Chrysler 200 offers decent gas mileage, and it also gives you enough room for you and your passengers.

When getting behind the wheel and in the car, you will notice that the Chrysler 200 is much nicer than the competition such as Honda and Toyota. In the cabin, you will enjoy high-end materials, and you will also get a large trunk. Drivers are also going to be very happy with the supportive front seats and ample room in the back seat. Included in every model are a proximity key, USB input and Chrysler’s Uconnect infotainment system. If you want an enjoyable and almost luxurious feel, you will get it with this vehicle as the front seats are heated, and it comes with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Finally, if you are a tech fan, you will love the Uconnect system, which comes with a 5-inch touchscreen.

Without a doubt, if you are in the mood for luxurious car and you don’t want to overspend, you should check out the Chrysler 200 sedan. There is a reason demand is soaring as people are now discovering that it offers more than other higher priced sedans. If you get behind the wheel or one for a quick test drive, you are sure to love the feel of it.

2015 Jeep RenegadeWhen you want to go off-road, you should only think of one name. While there are many pretenders in this crowded market, you need to remember that Jeep started it all, and this is the best name out there. People are going nuts over the 2015 Jeep Renegade Sport, and you need to check it out if you want a great SUV that is still easy to drive on the pavement.

The engine: This is not a vehicle with a big engine, but you are going to get better fuel economy because of this. The Jeep Renegade has a 160-hp, 1.4-liter turbo four with a six-speed manual. The other option is a 180-hp, 2.4-liter four with a nine-speed automatic. Either way, you will have enough power to do what you want to do in this SUV. With the 180-hp version, you should get from 0-60 in around 8.8 seconds, which isn’t bad considering this SUV is not made with high-end speed in mind. If you want to see how it performs, head to Chapman Jeep.

Four-wheel drive: Without a doubt, if you are going to buy a Jeep, you are going to want to go off the road. If you are not, you will not get the most out of your SUV. Luckily, the Jeep Renegade comes with four-wheel drive, which is essential if you are out in the desert and you go off the road. Since it’s not heavy, it’s a great option for an off-road vehicle as you won’t worry about getting stuck or lodged in a place.  With plenty of ground clearance, you are going to have a blast in this vehicle. At the same time, it’s not too high off the ground, so you can get around with ease.

Getting around town: If you are like most people, you also care about your Jeep while out on the freeway, two-lane highways or in city traffic. Yes, while we can dream of going off-road all the time, that is not always the reality, and you will want to buy an SUV that you can enjoy all the time. The Jeep Renegade has you covered as you can get around town with ease since it is not too high off the ground, and it has plenty of power to get you going.  Finally, if you want to save money on gas, you can do so with this SUV as it was certified at 25 mpg by the EPA, which is a decent amount considering that it is an SUV with four-wheel drive capabilities. Without a doubt, the 2015 Jeep Renegade gets great gas mileage.

Tech: If you are looking to buy a new 2015 SUV, you will want plenty of tech. Otherwise, you might as well buy used. Fortunately, Jeep has plenty to offer, and you can enjoy a direct steering torque, which will actively control oversteer issues, keeping you and your passengers safe.  Not to mention all the top-of-the-line items inside like Bluetooth, a six-speaker stereo and USB connectivity.

If you want a new SUV, you should consider the Jeep Renegade. It won’t leave you disappointed. This is true whether you are off-roading or driving down a major city street.
